Super Bowl Commercials

All time favorite- Bud Light- They use the humor of the mispronounciations of the immigrants and how to ask for beer in different parts of the country. Definitely aimed for humor on this one.

Top 3 of 2012:

M&M Sexy and I Know It- To introduce an all chocolate m&m, the company used humor and a popular song young people especially would know.

Man’s Best Friend- This ad was shocking but funny at the same time. Definitely one that’ll be remembered! That’s what a company aims for.

Chevy Graduation Gift- Another funny one! The son gets a fridge for graduation but thinks his neighbor’s car is the gift. It’s loud and memorable for sure.

3 Worst of 2012

Budweiser Eternal Optimism- They tried, got to give them that. They played a popular song, but the commercial itself was about prohibition- a topic not at all relevant or cared about today.

Chrysler Halftime in America- This ad was too long and sounded more like a political ad. It was also very contraversial and on the news the next day. I suppose negative attention is still attention, but probably not what Chrysler was intending.

John Stamos Yogurt- This ad may have attracted women in their fortys with John Stamo’s sex appeal, but this ad fell flat. There was barely any words and this commercial has been shown before.

Day Without a Phone

When this fist came up, I thought there was no way I could. I tried for the first few hours, but out of habit, started using it anyways. It’s so hard now that everyone has smartphones. Alarms, facebook, email, internet, and everything are on these phones. It isn’t just calling and texting anymore. This is why I found it impossible to go a day without my phone.

Q
Would you get a new face for the company?
A

I would most likely get a new face for the compay because it would help avoid extra negative publicity. But overall, it would depend on what the person did.
